This year PRATHIBA, our 7th year annual day was celebrated on 24th February, at SKP College Auditorium, from 10am to 3pm. Mrs. Madhuvanthi Arun, Dancer, Theatre Performer and Indian educationist, who is the \daughter of Mr.Y.G.Mahendran and grand daughter of Mr.Y.G.Parthasarathy was the Chief-Guest and Mrs. Janani, famous Singer was the Guest of Honour. Chaplin Sundar, the budding Music Director made our function Gala by being our Special Guest. He is also Morse instrument player and entertained us with that instrument too.
We honoured two best teachers Mrs.Devi and Mrs.T.N.Radhika and the retired teacher Mrs. N.Jyothi.
We honoured Mrs.Usha Rani and Mrs.Penugonda Revathi with Septuagenarian award.
We also honoured Mrs.Mallika Keshab, our immediate Past President, Mrs.Shylaja and Mrs.Prasanna Kumari with Vanithakisoram awards.
Our School’s 10th and 12th Toppers were honoured with memento and silver medals.
This year we started honouring 10th and 12th subject toppers also and to our surprise, there were 44 subject toppers. Each one is awarded with Silver medals.We are very happy with our Students’ results. All the awardees were complimented with snacks too.
In “change for Change” project, we have collected 5535/-.we added 4465/- to that amount and contributed Rs.10000/- to “Army Jawan fund” on behalf of our Alumni Association.
Two on-stage competitions and two off-stage competitions were conducted to our ktct students and they did extra-ordinary well.Winners were awarded with mementos and gifts and all the Student participants were given compliments and 50 Rs . Worth food-coupons.
We also conducted few one minute games to our Alumni members and they enjoyed a lot.They too were honoured with compliments. There were various stalls that kept us attracted and the day went on very well.
