Prathibha 2016

The fourth successful anniversary of our alumni prathibha 2016 was held at SKP College for Arts and Science on 21st February 2016. The Celebrations started at 10am our Chief Guest was MJF Ln. P.G. Sundarrajan, famous industrialist and Guest of honor was Mr. Aravind Super Singer title winner of Zee Tamil, 2012. The President Mrs. Mallikaa Keshab welcomed the gathering, Secretary Mrs. Latha Balaji Presented the Secretaries report and Treasurer Mrs. Bhanu Subramaniam delivered the Vote of thanks. The Guest of honor Aravind enthralled the audience with melodious songs based on Mother’s day that left us all humming to the best.

21st February was also world’s Mother tongue day, we were very much blessed to celebrate the same on the day of prathibha. We honored renowned people for their contribution in promoting the telugu language, Mr. Shankar Rao garu, Mr. Pasumarthi Badrinath were honored for the same.

It was a proud moment for us to honor our senior most member Mrs. Sreelakshmi mohan Rao garu for being listed in the Guinness book of world records for her achievement in Mother India Crochet Queen.

We have also honored Dr.Mohana Shree with the Dynamic principal award, towards her service to the college. Vanithakishoram award were presented to the women extraordinaire for their Phenomenal service to the society.

The following members were honored with vanithakishoram Rtn. Sujatha Ramesh Babu our Immediate Past President, Mrs. C Sukumari, Mrs. MS Nagalakshmi, Mrs. T Lalitha Sudhakar

Three currently working teachers also received best teachers award Mrs. MK Sudha, Mrs. I Hemalatha, Mrs. Manoja. Four retired teachers also received the same Mrs. MK Kalavathi, Mrs. K Ramamani, Mrs. S Sarojini, Mrs. Annapoorna.

The alumni is very happy to announce the best students award for this year, the awardees are Ms. P Saritha, Ms. YS Madhavi, Ms. G Jayalakshmi.

There was lots of fun events for the students, audience on and off stage too, they were Adzap, Shipwreck, for Pot Painting, Vegetable Carving and Dance forms of India. The students and the members participated with lots of enthusiasm and won many prizes. The Pot Paining and Vegetable carving brought out the hidden talents of the students, which were a feast to the eye. There were spot surprises which enthralled the gathering, tambola was also held which was a major attraction for the students and the audience.

The Programme ended with a group dance by the committee members who were also joined by the excited audience. Last but not the least the food stalls, handicrafts, jewellery, clothing, were a major attraction to the crowd.
