Children’s Day 2017

Our children’s and teachers day celebrations was conducted on 10th November 2017 at KTCT girls higher secondary school. It was a grand function. Our HM. Padmavathi madam gave a warm welcome to all our members. Our alumni conducted different competitions to different age groups of children. Our students were divided in to junior, senior and super senior. Junior students were given upholstery with beads , Different Hair styles and elocution on Desi cow Vs Jersey cow. Senior were given the task of decorating a hair clip and saree draping and debate on Swamiji cult for or against. 
 
Super Seniors were challenged with debate on Impact of GST on the society, different types of saree draping and decorating a pair of sandals. Our school children are amazingly talented and proved themselves that they can participate in any competition and win it too. They were very good in debating too. We conducted a debate on love marriage vs arranged marriage for our teachers. It was very interesting to know the views of our teachers. We enjoyed each and every bit of it. We adopted 15 children for our permanent project Baalika during our children’s day celebrations which was conducted on 10th November 2017. 

These children were given attractive prizes by our alumni All the children were gifted with a pen which was sponsored by our committee member Mrs.Padmavathy and her friends.1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes were sponsored by Mrs. Mallika shiva prakash, Mrs.Padmavathy and Mrs.Sathyavardhini. All the Teachers and non teaching staff were also given a gift. The winners of the debate conducted among the teachers were also given attractive prizes. 
 
It was utmost satisfying day. We provided sumptuous lunch to all the school children, teachers and members who were present. The satisfaction and the smile on the face of all the children is the most valuable prize we could ever get. We thank the philanthropists who made this project a successful one.
